S3 compatible

S3 storage on a server that is yours

An S3-compatible object store installed hardened at first boot: HTTPS on your server's address, firewall on, keys delivered to the console, automatic updates. Backups, media and application files on EU soil, at the price of a server.

From €4.95 per month (€0.0248 per hour) on the CLS-1G-20G plan, billed hourly.

Every S3 client

rclone, restic, Cyberduck, the AWS CLI, Laravel, Django, Rails and every SDK: path-style addressing, signature version 4.

Keys in the console

The access key and secret are generated at install and shown on the server page. No SSH needed.

Web console

Browse buckets, upload files and manage access from a web interface served over HTTPS on your server.

Price of a server

No per-GB or per-request pricing. Pick the disk size you need and pay the plan by the hour.

How it works

Three steps to an S3 endpoint.

  1. 1

Order a server with Object storage

Choose a plan by disk size. Everything installs itself at first boot.

  2. 2

    Copy the endpoint and keys

They are on the server page under Access, with the console address.

  3. 3

    Point your tool at it

Set the endpoint, region eu-central-1 and the keys in your backup tool or app. Create buckets from the console or from the client.

Questions

Which software runs underneath?
RustFS, an open-source, MinIO-compatible object store, kept current by a weekly update on the server.
Is it replicated?
It is a single server: as reliable as its disk. Keep a snapshot schedule on it, or use it as the destination of backups rather than the only copy.
Can I use my own domain?
The endpoint answers on your server's cloudlinux.ro address with a certificate. A custom domain can be added on the server's proxy.
What does it cost?
The server, billed by the hour up to its monthly price. Storage is the disk of the plan, with no traffic surprises inside the included allowance.

Keep your files on your own S3

Order from the console, the server is online in about a minute and billing stops the hour you delete it.
